I came across this quote in one of my textbooks, and I feel that it suits the profession of teaching very well.

As teachers, it is our job to prepare the children who will lead us in the future. This is one of the main reasons I chose to enter this profession! It's so exciting and inspiring to know that I can mold youngs minds and instill in them the confidence that is necessary for success.
